Moving To London? Get The Best N1 Removal Service For You
Posted on 02/09/2014
When you move to the N1 area, you should take some time to consider what you want from your removal company and spend some time researching which one is the best one for you. Booking a removal company that isn’t the best could actually cause more work and cost you more in the long run, whereas hiring a well-established and reputable company that is ideal for you and your situation can not only make the move easier, but it can make it enjoyable again!
Here is a simple process to finding yourself the best removal company in the N1 area, follow this and you should be fine:
1. Make a list of the removal companies in the N1 area
2. Make a list of the questions you would like to ask the removal companies when you call for a quote, this should include questions such as:
• Are you a member of the British Association of Removers? The BAR association ensures all of its members abide by strict codes of conduct. Furthermore, members of the BAR association often have better and larger vehicles, more equipment, and more and better trained staff.
• Is insurance offered in the price, if not can be included at an additional price? What does the insurance cover? How will it protect my belongings?
• What is the standard process you use when helping customers move home? i.e. what time will staff start and finish? How many staff members will there be? How long do they estimate the removal will take?
• Will any belongings need to be kept overnight? If so, what happens to them? You probably won’t need to worry about this if you are not moving far.
• What is their best quote? Is there likely to be any additional charges added on top of the quote, such as fuel costs, charges for materials used in packaging etc.
3. Get an idea as to what it is you want. Do you need a simple N1 house removal? Would you like help packing? Do you need N1 storage? Will you need furniture to be dismantled and erected in the new home? Etc. Bear in mind that the more things you want help with the more it is likely to cost you.
4. Once you have your list of questions and a good idea as to what you want, start calling around for quotes. You should try to get at least 7 so that you can get a better idea as to which ones are more realistic.
5. With your list of quotes, you now need to turn the list into a shortlist of your favourite companies. But before you do this it is a good idea to do some of your own research on the companies, try to find some real customer reviews of the companies and ensure their customers are happy with the services received. Check with the BAR association that they are a member. Doing as much research of your own as you can will enable you to make a more informed choice.
6. Once you have decided upon which N1removal company you would like to book, call them as soon as you can to secure the date. Ask them to send you confirmation of the booking in writing, so that you can keep it for your records, this should also include a note of their quote.
