7.    Do you have any references that I can see?
8.    Can you provide details to me in writing, of my quote and what this includes?
9.    Will you know who shares the van with you? Will they have access to your belongings? Will your things be picked up and dropped off first or last?

How do I choose a shared removal service?

When you are choosing which one of the companies to choose, don’t just pick the cheapest, also ensure that the company is reputable and well-established, furthermore make sure it offers the services that you require.  From the list of companies you have called, make a shortlist of the ones that are more favourable to you, and research these online.  Try to find real customer reviews about the company, and see if it offers a good service to its customers.

Once you have booked a removal service ask for the details of the agreement to be sent to you in writing, including the price on this.  It is a good idea to call the removal company a week or so before the move to make sure that there is no problems with them moving your things for you on the date agreed.
